Three days in and I've already gone to my first gig in London! Seems like a good start for me. And luckily it was one of my favorite bands (Beirut) at such a high profile venue (Hammersmith Apollo). Unfortunately, I discovered this show just before it sold out, so I was in the back. The way back. Back as far as you can go before going out into the street. It was standing in the balcony section, where they annoyingly kept the light on, but five songs in I ended up snagging a seat. It was still far away, but I could just make out the facial features of Zach Condon (the love of my life).
