Ack.
Someone has put a crazy idea in my head concerning my major project/thesis that I need to do for school, so I dove right into that. I've been reading/researching/generally being in the library for days.
I also, you know, started school. I can tell right now it's going to be crazy. I should've known better, I am getting this master's degree in a year. Although I feel like I will be photographically challenged in a way that I never felt in my undergrad, so I'm pretty excited. And maybe a tiny bit terrified.
With that being said, adventures have been kept to a minimum, but I always have my phone. At least I can keep some tabs on what I've been doing.

mumford & sons at rough trade east
It's not every day that you get to see your favorite band in their hometown, in a tiny vinyl shop with a crowd of 200 people (which will probably never happen again, considering they are now selling out arenas all over the world). And it's certainly not every day that you get to meet them and look like a total dork in all your pictures, but it doesn't even matter because you were so elated with happiness that your mind went totally blank.
They only played 6 songs, but I'm glad they played this one. After I had gotten up at 4am, got on the train at 5am, and arrived at the store at 6am to get a wristband to the gig, I walked back out into cold, rainy East London and this song was up on my iPod. I think it's been on repeat since.

king's road, west london
I wandered to a new part of the city, just to see the sights. I happened upon this, which looks an awful lot like this. It's the little things.
